Blair is a Psychological Associate (candidacy) with the Psychological Association of Manitoba, a sessional instructor at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan, and is registered with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Her work is about being in contribution, it draws from Clinical, Forensic, Depth and Gestalt Psychology, with a focus on how power, identity, and adaptation take shape in the body and in relationship. She is interested in cultivating direct contact with physical, emotional, and relational experience, and in what becomes possible in the greater community when that contact is sustained rather than avoided, managed, or split off.

Her practice extends beyond individual therapy to organizations and groups examining culture, power structures, and the conditions that support integrity, clarity, and sovereignty in motion. Blair integrates depth-oriented, psychodynamic, experiential, and cognitive approaches, including Gestalt, ACT, psychosomatics, dreamwork, and behavioural strategies. Her work centres on contributing to the reconnection of parts of self so that the whole can return to presence and participation.

Blair’s past work in Forensic Mental Health spanned clinical assessment, treatment, and program development where psychology intersects with the judicial system. This included working with individuals and groups who have committed violent and sexual offences, those impacted by interpersonal violence, and Emergency Response personnel exposed to occupational trauma (Law Enforcement, Fire Service, Paramedicine and Emergency Medicine). Environments which required precision, containment, and the capacity to work directly with the impact of sustained intensity on the human nervous system. These skills continue to inform her current practice and her collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams.

Blair obtained a Master’s in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver, clinical supervised practice at Forensic Psychological Services in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and an undergraduate degree in Human Security and Fine Art from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Her early professional life included investigative work related to sexual exploitation and communications work with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Her path and orientation are shaped by community, lived insight, a devotion to practice and a deep trust in what moves beneath understanding.
